We are now in Hualian- a smaller city on the Western coast of Taiwan nestled up in the large tropical green mountains. It is definitely a change of pace from the busy Taipei city. This is the view from our room.
Just something I thought I'd point out. This is our bathroom. Do you notice anything missing? How about a bathtub? Yep, just spraying down the whole bathroom is easier I guess. All the normal bathrooms in Taiwan are like this. Everything's an adventure I suppose.
We are coastal so for the first night we decide to get seafood. Here is Rick pointing at our soon-to-be dinner.
The cruelest part is all these tanks are right next to the chef's "chopping block"- all the fishies were turned towards him. And there was this huge dead fish head just sitting there. It definitely takes away the surprise of what's going to happen for the fishies I suppose- they must have very little hope. ;)
