These gardens were about 10 acres of lush foliage right in the middle of the big city. Our favorite part was right here in the lotus garden. This picture is probably my favorite that I've taken so far. Imagine the cool quite of a watery garden after wandering through the hot streets of Taipei all day. Wonderful.
Rick with the lotus- this is one of Rick's favorite plants- so much so that he tried to grow one in a vase in our house once. Let's just say these looked much better.
