I get to go to Georgetown campus twice through my program for an intensive weekend training. This was my first time, and it was so exciting to meet my peers and experience Georgetown!
Amy and I ready to go!
First night with these friends I've made online, and feel like I've known forever, but am only just meeting in real life! We even all shared a room/beds. It's a wacky social experiment (like online dating on steroids) but we got along even better than I could have predicted. Already love these people so much.
Georgetown campus was unreal.
The most beautiful campus I've ever seen.
Founded in 1789.
Me and Sarah (my emotional/social twin) - so lucky to have met her.
A seal on the main building entry way.
Legend says that if a student walks on any of the gold they won't graduate.
And at graduation, all the students walk across it.
So cool- and no I did not touch it!
Cannon from the Revolutionary War.
The only cannon allowed to be pointed towards the White House.
The "Harry Potter" building- our cohort.
Crazy that we originally started with 32 students.
We're now down to 22.
Just beautiful.
The backside courtyard.
The balcony to the left is where George Washington gave a commencement speech, and almost every other US president has spoken at some point.
Inside the small chapel.
Only Georgetown alumni (both of them) can get married here.
And it's a 2 year waiting list!
Celebrating our HOYA success after our first round of testing!
Our daily morning walk to campus
First pelvic, prostate, and rectal exams done!
We make it look good.
View of the Potomac from the roof of the school
The canals.
And of course we had to see some of the sights.
Amy, Me and Brooke and Abe
Jefferson Monument- love the quotes here
Such a great group of people- I honestly can't remember the last time I had such a fun weekend.
