Rick and I took a last minute trip to DC for a few days- beautiful spring days in the nations Capital. I love it every time I go there- and it reminds me that no matter what we believe- we are a great country.

Sorry this is a bit blurry- but we weren't supposed to photograph the Gutenberg Bible so I had to take this really fast (note I didn't actually photograph the bible itself- I'm not destroying history)

Vietnam Memorial- this is my favorite memorial- the symbolism of the high polished stone to reflect yourself in to the names of the deceased.

Thanks for this post! Valerie and I are going to Pittsburgh in a few weeks and I was having a heck of a time finding places to eat. I look forward to going there.
Great pics! But glad to have Rick's point-n-shoot proof u were there. I hope to get to go there someday soon! BTW I saw ur mom at the temple again. It's so fun to always run into her there.
