We spent our Christmas Eve quietly together.
We started doing a new Icelandic tradition where you give each other books on Christmas Eve.
We went to a used book store, and all picked out books, and spent the rainy afternoon reading.
It was dreamy.
That night we went out for Chinese food, and got the DELICIOUS Peking Duck
And then we went downtown to see the BIG tree.
We were going to go ice skating, but it was too rainy.
Then we got in our PJs, read "Night Before Christmas", and lit our Christmas pyramid while listening to a music box.
It's so serene and reminiscent of my childhood.
The next morning Sophia was so excited to see all the presents.
