Celebrating fall

If there is anything that is the best about Michigan, it has to be the Fall.
Crisp Autumn air, leaves changing, and long afternoon light.
We spend a Saturday afternoon scavenging for acorns, pinecones, and berries at Cranbrook.
We also got to feed the swans.

Rick and Sophia hiding in Sophia's favorite tree.
It's like a fort inside.

Beautiful

Our art project from our scavenged treasure.

And another visit to a cider mill

Oh, a water wheel?
That's great...
Where are the doughnuts???

Oh, there they are.

And picking apples at the tree down the street.
Yes, we brought our own ladder to get the good apples at the top.
And then we made our own cider with it.
We are those people.

Fall is delicious.
