Greenfield Village - Holiday Nights

So, we had so much fun at Holiday Nights last year, we had to go back.
Fun music...

Seeing Santa...

He even knew Sophia's name?! (she was excited).

Birthday Morning

We are going to be traveling on Sophia's birthday, so we decided to have her party and celebrate it as a family a few weeks early. It was a blast- she had a great day.

We started it out with a birthday surprise of streamers and balloons to greet her when she woke up.

And she LOVES balloons!

 

Breakfast started with "Birthday Monsters" (a now Smith-tradition)

And daddy made some yummy crepes

I love my daughter unconditionally, but she totally looks little happy fat child here.
Cracks me up.

It's My Party!

We had Sophia's birthday party at the Henry Ford Museum- it was so much fun with all her little buddies!

We mostly went and saw the new Lego exhibit
Sophia was excited...

But I think Rick was more excited!
(this is a real initial reaction. I thought he was going to cry...)

So after the exhibit, they had a huge area for kids to play with Legos. That's where we basically spent all of our time.
